And kind of unfair, too
There is something really sad about my car insurance for the Civic being so much more expensive than the same-plan insurance for the mini van. First off, They’re both Hondas, and the van is actually two years newer. Second, the van may look less sporty, but the speedometer goes to 160 mph (!), and it could leave the five speed Civic in the dust without even putting the pedal to the floor.
I know the Civic looks like the sportier car of the two, but I keep wanting to get my insurance guy to come over and try to make it act sporty, because I love my car, but it’s a good thing I didn’t buy it for its zero to sixty time.
I bought the car for many reasons, not the least of which being that it can get 38 miles to the gallon. But when my insurance guy comes over, I’m still going to get him tell me how he makes it act so worthy of the steep bill.
