With luck, I will resume real blogging soon. I’ve been out of commission this weekend, because as soon as I had a free weekend, I had to go and get sick.

Anyway, I wrote a while back that I bought my car (last fall) because it is practical, so I have to brag on it a little bit. My “high insurance” car got 39 miles to the gallon last week. W00t. I used to have a first generation Prius that regularly got worse mileage than that (of course it still averaged better than the Civic, but that’s beyond the point).
